About Me

Hello, and welcome. I’m a New Orleans–based Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I help individuals navigate trauma and its effects on emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Many of the people I work with have spent years in talk-based therapy, gaining valuable insight, yet continue to experience persistent stress, tension, or other physical and emotional symptoms. My work focuses on addressing these patterns at the level of the body and nervous system, where trauma is often held.

With over 20 years of experience, I guide clients in releasing trauma held in the body, restoring balance to the nervous system, and building lasting emotional resilience. Many clients report an increased sense of ease, self-compassion, vitality, and connection as their healing unfolds.

The Clients I Support

I support clients who have experienced developmental and relational trauma, complex PTSD, narcissistic abuse, and grief. These experiences can show up in many ways, including anxiety, depression, chronic stress, sleep difficulties, physical pain, or autoimmune challenges. Together, we work gently and collaboratively to understand how your system has adapted and how to support meaningful, sustainable change.

I also work with clients who identify as neurodivergent.

As someone with ADHD, I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. My approach is affirming and strength-based: ADHD, AuDHD, and other neurodivergent traits are understood as natural variations in how brains work, not problems to be fixed. In therapy, we explore how your neurodivergent strengths interact with past coping strategies and develop tools that support regulation, resilience, and connection

Professional Qualifications

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience and a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. My training includes post-master’s coursework in Somatic Experiencing and Somatic Touch Therapy, with a focus on trauma, nervous system regulation, and integrative, body-based treatment approaches.

In addition to formal training, I bring lived experience that informs my clinical sensitivity, including experience with ADHD and recovery from narcissistic abuse. While this perspective deepens my understanding, my work remains firmly grounded in each client’s unique experience and the impact of trauma on their life, with care guided by clinical skill, ethics, and attunement.
